Binova Collection
Vogue Kitchen
The essential use of vacuum
Binova offers a new path of exploration around the relationship between the kitchen and other areas of the home, in a continuous interweaving of functions, habits, and daily needs. Spaces cease to be limited by structural elements to become open and passageway spaces, where a true operational hierarchy no longer exists. A project that thus defines the spirit of an open house that is not afraid to offer informal perspectives, where the changing perception of space is a value and not an extravagance. The main element around which the entire environment revolves is the L-shaped column wall composed of modules of different depths joined together to form a single line that connects the kitchen to the living room and uses the same elements, a “continuum” of contamination between forms and functions.Another strong feature of the columns are the openings that soften the impact of the wooden wall and at the same time allow the opening of the facades and the wonderful cones of light. The island with the Vogue doors is characterized by vertical cuts that allow opening and by the oxidized lacquered finish, another innovative element is the snack top completely cantilevered which guarantees a comfortable convivial space. The living wall retraces the same finishes as the kitchen and is characterized by an intersection of volumes that allow for solid and empty spaces with recessed folding compartments, while the sideboard has Vogue doors and a thick stoneware top.
